Frequently Asked Questions
What type of equipment do you use?
We use all Canon pro level gear.
Do you book multiple weddings per weekend or per day?
We will NEVER take on more than one wedding in one day. We will take up to two per weekend.
What do you wear to a wedding?
We wear black or mostly black dress clothes. We try to dress as if we were guests at your wedding.
What is your deposit in order to reserve my date?
We require a 50% deposit to hold your date and the remainder is due on wedding day.
Where do you travel?
We travel anywhere sweet tea is served!
What's your travel fee?
If overnight accommodations are necessary, we will pass the final bill onto you for the cost of a moderate hotel ( think Hampton Inn). If airfare is necessary, we will also pass that charge along to you.If travel can be done by car, we charge the going USmileage reimbursement rate, which is currently $0.51.
Can you take credits cards?
Yes we can!
Will Matt and Leslie be the ones photographing my wedding?
Yes! We may at times bring a third shooter, but Matt and Leslie will always be the 2 main photographers for your event.
Who's Elizabeth Scott?
No one! Elizabeth is Leslie's middle name and Scott is Matt's middle name.
Do you have insurance? What about a business license?
Yes and yes! We are insured through Selective Insurance.
What's your photographic style?
We strive to preserve your wedding day in a clean, classic way with a modern, updated twist. We want you to look back on your wedding photos and see timeless photos that captured your unique day.
Explain your copyright release please.
Whenever we deliver our images on a DVD to you, we include a digital negatives release that allows you to make unlimited reproductions for personal use. We, however, will always hold the copyright to your image.
So are you guys in Charleston or Charlotte?
Both. We go back and forth between Charlotte and the coast of SC, so we consider both areas our local markets. Which means there's not a travel fee for either Charlotte and Charleston.
